Admissions Policy
Lake Granbury Montessori Academy welcomes all qualified individuals regardless of sex, race, color, creed, disability, national or ethnic origin. We have a rolling enrollment and accept applications year round. We may have a waiting list so it is important to begin the admissions process as soon as possible.
Acceptance of any applicant is based principally on the child’s readiness for school and potential success in a Montessori classroom as determined by the child-teacher-administrator interviews as well as the parents’ expectations of the school.
Steps to Enrollment
Schedule a Tour
Schedule a tour using the form on the CONTACT PAGE.
Fill out the APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT form and submit $60 non-refundable application fee (check or cash only.)Schedule your Child’s Visit After completing a tour and submitting the application and fee, you will be contacted to schedule a 30 minute meeting for your child with the primary or toddler teacher.
This meeting will be scheduled for no sooner than one month before your child’s anticipated start date.
Submit your Enrollment Contract
Upon acceptance, you then complete and return your child’s Enrollment Contract with the deposit. Your contract and deposit must be submitted to secure your child’s enrollment. You will be asked to provide additional information before your child’s anticipated start date (ex. immunization records, health forms) which must all be on file before your child can attend school.
The following priorities are observed in determining admissions:
Currently enrolled students
Children of employees
Siblings of currently enrolled students
Balance of age and temperament in the classroom
Date of application
If classes are full, prospective students will be put on a wait list.
